Monal is passionate about high standards of care in clinical medicine, and has also worked in the digital health field. She has a particular interest in lifestyle medicine and preventative health and leads Medinow's medical services with an ethos of care, empathy and professionalism.
As the Chief Medical Officer of Medinow, she is focused on clinical governance, health service development and research. Monal is a member of the Royal College of General Practioners' Innovators and the Innovate UK Global Business Programme to help support health care innovations within the NHS and private industry.
Previously, she was a GP Principal managing some 9,500 patients in a South West London GP practice and has wide experience of helping patients from diverse areas and different socioeconomic backgrounds with complex medical, psychological and social needs.
As the lead clinician for several chronic disease areas including hypertension, coronary heart disease and heart failure, Monal coordinates patient care in the community and with hospital health care teams. Her experience has helped her encourage behavioural change and enhance patient engagement, which in turn has led to stronger choices and better management of their health conditions.
Monal manages a team of clinical and non-clinical staff, and is actively involved with team members to encourage their growth. She is experienced in medical and health communication, health coaching and motivational behaviour to promote positive relationships with colleagues and patients.
Monal has a strong focus on medical education and has acted as a GP Tutor, GP Trainer and GP Programme Director with Health Education England, providing regular teaching on a number of areas such as Clinical Supervision. She has written three revision guides for the MRCP and MRCGP examinations with excellent feedback as found on Amazon.co.uk.
Monal has completed a Masters in Medical Education as part of the NIHR In-Practice Fellowship.

Sunil is a consultant in anaesthetics and pain medicine and has extensive experience in managing patients with acute pain, chronic pain and cancer-related pain.
He helps patients that are suffering from all types of short term and persistent pain, including the knee, back, neck, elbow and shoulder pain, as well as abdominal pain and complex regional pain syndrome.
Sunil uses innovative methods such as radiofrequency techniques and injections to relieve the symptoms of migraines and is committed to providing excellent care to my patients using a holistic, patient-centred approach to ensure the best treatment and management plan.
Sunil's focus is diagnosis and treatment with a full range of interventional and non-interventional treatments for painful conditions where surgery is not indicated or not yet needed. Common conditions treated include degenerative and arthritic conditions, back and knee injury. He is experienced with interventional techniques such as back and neck epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, nerve root injections and pulsed radiofrequency to help reduce pain.
Sunil performs pain alleviation procedures for headaches, neck, shoulder, elbow, wrists, hands, rib, abdomen, back, hip, knee, ankle and foot. In addition, he helps to treat patients with post-surgical pain.
Sunil is the cancer pain medicine lead at Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey and is a member of the British Society of Pain Medicine special interest group in education.
